It's extremely difficult for me to name things. When I first thought about what I represent or what I am most drawn to artistically, it boils down to the idea of taking care of oneself. So, the birth of our business, eye love you co., stems from this idea of self-love. I initially designed the logo with my husband and thought it would be an excellent logo for our wedding and then transformed into our business name. I thought it was a great logo to have for our wedding because it was a great lesson in never forgetting to love myself, even if I was married. I also thought it would be a great way of sharing with the world how important it is to never forget to love yourself despite the many changes that occur in life.

In my mid-20s, I realized the importance of self-care or self-love. It's not the kind of selfie taking, conceded type of love for yourself; rather it is more focused on taking the time to realize how important and unique you are in the universe. Keeping this idea in mind, one is able to love others freely with no strings attached.

Also, this quote also brings to mind how much energy it takes for people to hate. With respect to all the hate crimes going on, it just makes me think about how much these people don't love themselves. They would rather focus their attention on hating people then look within themselves and discover why they are making the choice to be in a world of negativity.
