THE STORY

The name Eye Love You Co. was born from my own wedding in 2014. My husband and I, while dating, would leave each other post-it love notes around our apartment in random locations. Sometimes we would leave them on the fridge before departing for work or other times on the mirror of our bathroom. Many creative ideas came about through these notes and, instead of a monogram of our initials, the logo became the mark for our wedding.

THE STORY CONTINUED

My calligraphy journey started when I took a course in 2014 with Maybelle Imasa-Stukuls through Poketo. From a young age, I've always loved writing in cursive and was determined to implement some form of calligraphy in my own wedding.

I immediately fell in love with the meditative aspect of writing, the freedom of creating my own font, and designing. After my wedding, I would dabble in writing for fun, create card designs, and mess around with Photoshop.

However, it wasn't until my sister asked me address her wedding envelopes in calligraphy that I actually thought I could make this a business.  So, she took pictures of her envelopes and, on a whim, I posted them on Etsy to see if other people would be interested in the service and, to my surprise, people asked me to address envelopes for them.

OFFERINGS

I know all too well that planning a wedding or other life event can be overwhelming, so give me all the details, so that you can focus on orchestrating the event. My goal is to make your invitation a reflection of you are as a united couple.

I would characterize my design aesthetic as simple, timeless, unique and a touch of vintage flair. I firmly believe in reusing vintage ribbons and accessories to truly create a personalized invitation experience. I always strive for working with materials that are planet-friendly, recyclable, and/or compostable, when possible.

I offer semi-custom suites, custom suites, and if you just want me to address envelopes, I can do that too.
